Friday 10th July 2015 / 9.00pm
Gil De Ray formed in 2013 in London, UK from the ashes of the infamous Blak Magik Society. Lead vocalist and songwriter, Gil, originally from Glasgow, Scotland hooked up with long time collaborator FeedBackJack to make a lysergic blend of 60’s inspired psychedelic soul and garage rock!
Bringing together the rhythm section of Dr Paco (on bass) and Jody Moroney (on drums) Gil De Ray started playing gigs and touring in 2014 with Little Barrie and released 2 albums “Infect The Culture” and “Low Sun Rising”.
The album “Lysergic Soul” has just been released to coincide with this year’s UK tour, again with Little Barrie and is a precursor to the main album “Incantations; The Psychedelic Soul Of Gil De Ray” which the band are currently recording with Barrie Cadogan (Little Barrie) and Mike Burnham at Lovebuzz studios in South East London.
The Method One are currently recording their first LP at soundshape studios and hope to be releasing it in August /September.
A psychedelic/garage/rocknroll /post punk six piece, they hail from greenock and are an explosive live outfit.

New adventure at Jim Lambie’s Poetry Club Glasgow. This will be a free event to accompany Andrew & Sean’s fantastic ALFOS. These tickets will only be available to the first 60 ALFOS cadets who buy their Aug ticket on Fri 5th June 12 noon. Best be quick as I doubt they’ll hang around too long. MNFE should/will run along the same lines as Andrew’s radio shows, eclectic, interesting & informative as to what is getting his music radar twitching. We will I’m sure along the way be having the odd surprise live guests Andrew might be working with or just someone he admires & wants to share with you.
**Double tickets are limited to 2 per person, multiple bookings will be refunded**

FRIDAY 5TH JUNE: Finitribe (LIVE) with HAUSFRAU (LIVE) & DJ MOGGIEBOY
Doors 7.30pm – 11.00pm
Some of you might of been out today picking up the fantastic RSD 12′ 101 remixed By Scott Fraser & Tim Fairplay. This show in June heralds the re-release & remastering of the classic Weatherall Sonic Shuffle 101 mix.
Finitribes 2nd live outing in Glasgow since their reformation. A crack’in support slot with 808 State at Glasgow’s ABC was a great way to get back on the Glasgow boards. This will be more of an intimate fans show due to the size of the Poetry Club. Finitribe at the Poetry Club will deliver the performance & atmosphere of yesteryear although just as when they started out this will be bang up to date.
