Superluminal Presents: PETROL BASTARD

Friday, 21 August 2015

Welcome to the cultural circus, yeah?

Superluminal is a semi-regular club night with live music and performance from a variety of subversive sources. All female DJ team, DJ Priss and DJ Aeon Fox play sexy tunes.

The latest in the 2015 series showcases a live set from PETROL BASTARD the self proclaimed ‘Tesco Value Prodigy’ who bring their personal brand of techno punk mayhem to Glasgow.  Biting, visceral lyrics and a firm grasp of irony and comedy, Petrol Bastard have it all. Brutal beats, a sense of the ridiculous and a blistering live show.

Support from SAUSAGE SQUAD as Enid and Cleo Kraapmaben make a long awaited return with their brand of dark techno and horror lyrics. Can anyone stop this band? We hope so.

And finally the unforgiveable PETROL HOERS.  Techno. With a rubber horse.  A radical equestrian experience.

Grant Morrison will also exclusively perform the second part of his spoken word with music piece — “A Clockwork Wullie”.

Always with special guests.

“It’s like the Sub Club… but better… and gayer.
It’s everything it needs to be!”

So said a HOT MESS virgin last month when he popped his disco cherry and threw himself into the throbbing mass of bodies, energy and rhythm on our dancefloor. He’s seen the light – now it’s time for you to do the same.

Simonotron plays disco, house, electropop, italo, synth, techno, and lots of things that don’t fit into those boxes but make you feel like you’re at the best party in the country. Which you might well just be.

Entry £6
